About Amethyst
Amethyst is the violet variety of quartz (silicon dioxide), its purple colour drawn from trace iron and natural irradiation within the crystal. It forms in the cavities of volcanic rock, lining geodes as it grows, and is found in Brazil, Uruguay, Zambia and India, in shades from soft lilac to deep royal purple.
How to Use Your Amethyst Ring
Wear on your non-dominant hand (left for most) to keep its energy close through the day.
For sleep, you can also rest it on your bedside table at night.
Recharge on a selenite plate at least once every 30 days.
Keep it away from water, and cleanse with sage smoke, sound or moonlight when it feels heavy.
Caring for Your Amethyst
Keep Amethyst away from water — remove it before swimming, bathing or washing hands, as moisture can weaken it over time.

Clean gently — wipe with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical cleaners.

Recharge: Rest it on a Selenite plate overnight, leave it under moonlight, or pass it through sage or palo santo smoke.
