Angelite is a soft blue variety of anhydrite, a calcium sulfate mineral formed from compressed Celestite over millions of years. It was first discovered in Peru in 1987 and takes its name from the long-held belief that it facilitates connection with higher guidance and angelic realms — a quality attributed to its still, deep frequency rather than any literal claim.
