Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy

At World of Oorja, all crystals, gemstones, and Rudraksha products are prepared, cleansed, energised, and customised specifically for each customer only after an order is confirmed. Due to this personalised and irreversible process, return, cancellation, and refund requests are governed by the terms below.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy.

We ensure every customer receives products that are as described, authentic, and in good condition. However, due to the personalised nature of our offerings, returns and cancellations are not accepted once oder has been processed.

We deeply value your trust and personally review every concern with care, ensuring it is handled with empathy, fairness, and respect for our spiritual integrity.

1. Exchanges & Replacements

Exchange Window Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Requests submitted after this window will not be accepted.

To be eligible, all of the following must be true:

  • The product is unused, unworn, and unaltered
  • All original packaging, certificates, and accessories are intact
  • A continuous, unedited unboxing video clearly showing the sealed parcel being opened is provided

Claims submitted without all required documentation will not be processed.

Damaged or Incorrect Products If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, notify us within 48 hours at support@worldofoorja.com or WhatsApp. Upon verification:

  • The item will be replaced at no additional charge
  • Return pickup will be arranged where courier services are available
  • If pickup is unavailable in your area, you may be asked to self-ship to our Jaipur office — reasonable shipping costs will be reimbursed on submission of a valid courier receipt

Replacement Dispatch Once your return reaches our warehouse, replacements are dispatched within 1–2 business days.


2. Items Not Eligible for Exchange or Refund

Exchanges and refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Aesthetic or design expectation mismatch (not caused by our error)
  • Natural variations in colour, texture, clarity, size, or weight — these are inherent to gemstones and organic materials
  • Products worn, used, handled, or altered after delivery
  • Damage caused by water, perfumes, chemicals, heat, or physical mishandling
  • Minor outer packaging damage where the product itself is intact
  • Delivery refused at the doorstep
  • Orders undeliverable due to incorrect address or customer unavailability (forward and return shipping charges apply)
  • Partially paid or COD orders cancelled at delivery
  • Customised jewellery, mounted gemstones, and made-to-order items — unless a manufacturing defect is verified by us

3. Cancellation Policy

Each product is prepared and energised immediately after your order is confirmed.

You may cancel if: your request is received before preparation or dispatch has begun. Contact us immediately at support@worldofoorja.com with your Order ID.

You cannot cancel if: preparation, energisation, or dispatch has commenced. Customised jewellery and made-to-order items are non-cancellable from the moment of order placement.

Cancellation Charge: For prepaid orders cancelled before processing, 6% of the order value is deducted to cover payment gateway and administrative fees. The net amount is refunded within 5–7 business days.


4. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only in verified exceptional cases, at the discretion of World of Oorja, following internal review.

When refunds may be approved:

  • Prepaid order cancelled before processing (minus 6% deduction)
  • Verified case where exchange or replacement is not feasible

Deductions on approved refunds:

  • 6% payment gateway charges
  • Applicable forward and/or return shipping costs

Processing time: 5–7 business days from approval date, returned to your original payment method.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Packages lost in transit — a replacement will be dispatched after courier investigation
  • Delays caused by courier partners or events beyond our control
  • Delivery refused at the doorstep (parcel will be re-dispatched; re-shipping charges apply)
  • Orders returned due to incorrect address or customer unavailability
  • Products returned used, damaged, or without original packaging and certificates
  • Damage to outer packaging only, where the product is undamaged


5. How to Request an Exchange

  1. Visit the Exchange Portal on our website, or contact us at support@worldofoorja.com or WhatsApp
  1. Share your Order ID, registered name, and contact details
  2. Select the issue and upload all required images/videos
  3. Submit — you will receive acknowledgement within 48 hours
  4. On approval, return logistics and replacement dispatch will be arranged

Requests through informal channels such as social media DMs will not be processed.


7. Complaint Resolution Timelines

All complaints are handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

  • Acknowledgement: within 48 hours
  • Resolution: within 30 business days of acknowledgement
  • Escalation: unresolved complaints may be referred to our Grievance Officer
