It is valued in Indian gemstone work for its clarity and for how well it carries 22K gold foil and enamel detailing. Associated with the Solar Plexus, it has long been kept as a stone of confidence, prosperity and clear intent.

Dust gently with a soft dry brush or cloth only — never wash it, never use water, cleaning fluids or polish, and avoid abrasion of any kind. Gold foil is soft and will lift if rubbed. Keep it out of long direct sunlight so the colours stay true, and lift it with both hands from the base.
