This candle is hand-poured into a carved wooden heart bowl — a style loved for its rustic warmth and for the second life the bowl gets once the wax is finished: a tray for jewellery, keys or trinkets.

The top is dressed by hand — dried rose petals scattered across one side, pearl accents, and "HAPPY RAKHI" spelled out in letter beads — so the candle carries the greeting itself. It is tied with jute twine, finished with an आश्वी tag, and accompanied by a matching card.

Because each piece is poured, carved and decorated by hand, small variations in the wood grain, petal placement and finish are natural — every heart is one of a kind.

Before the first burn, remove the twine, tag, letter beads, pearls and any dried petals near the wicks — decorative toppings must never be left close to a flame.

Trim the wicks to about 5mm, then light and let the wax pool evenly. Burn on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, and never for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

Always leave a layer of wax at the base — do not burn the candle all the way down, as the vessel is wood.

When the candle is finished, clean out the remaining wax with warm (not boiling) water and keep the carved heart bowl as a keepsake tray.

Keep away from direct sunlight, heaters and damp areas — heat softens the wax and moisture can affect the wooden bowl.

Never leave the burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children, pets, curtains and drafts.

Extinguish if the flame comes near the wooden rim or any remaining decoration, and always stop burning while a base layer of wax remains.

Wipe the bowl with a dry cloth only; avoid soaking the wood in water.
