Jade covers two distinct minerals — nephrite (a calcium-magnesium silicate) and jadeite (a sodium-aluminium silicate) — both carved and worn for thousands of years. Its colours range from pale celadon and lavender to deep emerald, the soft light green entirely natural. It is found in Myanmar, China, Guatemala and New Zealand.
