Pyrite is iron sulphide — a metallic, brass-gold mineral that forms in near-perfect cubes and clusters deep in sedimentary and hydrothermal rock. Its gleam earned it the name Fool's Gold, after centuries of prospectors mistaking it for the real thing.

It is found in Spain, Peru, Italy and India, and has been carried as a wealth and protection stone across cultures for thousands of years. Our Pyrite is chipped, tumbled and set into the barrel in our Jaipur workshop.
How to Use Your Pyrite Pen

Keep it on your work desk rather than in a bag — it works through use, not storage.
Use it for the money paperwork: invoices, quotes, contracts, targets, and the numbers you write at the start of a month.
Hold it for a moment before a negotiation or a difficult email and set your intention.
Place it in the north or south-east of your workspace if you follow Vastu for wealth.
Rest it on a Selenite plate overnight once a month to recharge.
Caring for Your Pyrite Pen

Keep the pen away from water — Pyrite is iron-based and must never be soaked or rinsed.

Wipe the barrel with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and alcohol wipes.

Avoid dropping it on hard floors — the barrel holds loose crystal chips and can crack on impact.

Refill: uses a standard ballpoint refill. Replace the refill rather than the pen.

Recharge: rest on a Selenite plate overnight, leave under moonlight, or pass through sage or palo santo smoke. Keep Pyrite out of prolonged damp.
