Pyrite Kalawa Sacred Thread – Wealth & Confidence

This kalawa carries a single stone with one job. Pyrite is an iron sulphide mineral, formed in the earth over millions of years and known for its metallic golden lustre — the reason it earned the name Fool's Gold. It is found in countries such as Peru, Spain and India.

In crystal practice Pyrite is the stone of money and willpower, associated with the solar plexus chakra and with decisive, grounded action. Each stone used in this rakhi is hand-cut, polished and set in our Jaipur workshop.

Tie the kalawa on the right wrist for men and unmarried women, and on the left for married women, as tradition holds.
Have someone else tie it where possible, keeping your free hand over your head or heart.
Wear it daily — it is made for year-round wear, not only for festivals.
Pyrite must be kept dry. Remove the thread before bathing, and re-tie the stone on a fresh thread when the old one frays.

Pyrite is iron sulphide and tarnishes if it gets damp — keep this thread away from water, humidity and salt, and never soak it. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Recharge in early morning sunlight or under moonlight. When the cotton thread frays, re-tie the stone on a fresh one.
