Is this real red sandalwood?
Yes. The beads are natural red sandalwood (Rakt Chandan) and the mala comes with a certificate of authenticity. Natural wood shows small differences in colour and grain.

Yes. It is free size and sits at mid-chest on most people, so it suits both men and women.
How long is the mala?
About 20 inches around (about a 10 inch drop), with 54 beads of 7 mm and a gold hook clasp.

The caps and links are gold plated. Keep it away from water, perfume and sweat-heavy workouts and the shine stays longer.
